I’m back in SD again finally after a couple of delays. I tried to fly home on Wednesday morning, but missed my flight. Honolulu airport was just a mess - I had to go through Agriculture inspection at the American Airlines terminal, then change my plane ticket there, THEN I had to run over to the Hawaiian Airlines terminal, and stand in the Agriculture inspection line AGAIN. Long and the short of it - After standing in four different lines for two hours, I missed the plane by 5 minutes.

Oh well, there are certainly worse places to be stuck than Hawaii.

I spent the extra day on the North shore, then grabbed a drink with my friend Lauren at a beachside party for her now-ex office mate Matt Brown who has left Hawaii for Santa Cruz. She then went off and worked on her masters thesis, so I ended up grabbing a couple of drinks with Cambria, the ResTech on Melville, and then crashed at Laurens house that night. Thanks for putting me up for the evening, Lauren!

I finally got the pictures off of my camera from Fiji. I didn’t really feel like take too many pictures this trip, but I did get a couple while I was hiking around the waterfalls at Colo-I-Suva forest park in Fiji.
